Racing Dashboard ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by Racing Dashboard Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17363828). This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how you can control it.
| Data | Why | Handled by |
|---|---|---|
| Subscription status & purchase history | To unlock paid content you've subscribed to | RevenueCat, via Apple/Google's own billing systems |
| An anonymous device/subscriber ID | To check your subscription is active — no name, email, or account is created | RevenueCat |
| Crash and error reports (device model, OS version, app version, and what the app was doing when it failed) | To find and fix bugs | Sentry |
We do not collect your name, email address, physical address, contacts, location, camera, or microphone data. The app does not show ads and does not run any advertising or tracking SDKs.
Racing form, prices, and results shown in the app come from a third-party racing data provider and are not personal data.
All payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) via RevenueCat. We never see or store your card details.
The app stores a small amount of data locally on your device — cached race data and a login token — so it works quickly and stays signed in. This is not transmitted anywhere beyond what's described above.
Our server does not maintain a user account database. Access to paid content is verified against your anonymous RevenueCat subscriber ID, and that ID's entitlement result may be held in server memory for a short time (currently up to 10 minutes) so repeat checks don't need to re-verify with RevenueCat every time. This cached entry is anonymous, temporary, and never written to disk. Nothing identifying you personally is stored server-side.
We don't sell your data. Data is only shared with the service providers listed above (RevenueCat, Sentry, and Apple/Google's app stores), each of whom processes it under their own privacy policies:
If you're in the UK or EU, you have rights under UK GDPR/GDPR to access, correct, or request deletion of any data held about you. Since the app doesn't hold an identifiable account for you directly, most requests are best directed to RevenueCat (for subscription data) or handled by uninstalling the app (which removes locally stored data). For anything else, contact us using the details below.
This app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
